Do you provide the alcohol?
Unfortunately due to California ABC laws, clients must purchase their own alcohol, however this does allow you to choose brands and manage costs. We’ll give you a detailed shopping list based on your guest count and menu, and even recommendations on local places for purchase. If you’d like help sourcing or delivery, just ask—we can recommend local partners.
Why use a professional service and not family or friends?
Hiring a professional team ensures your guests receive safe, efficient, and polished service. Our bartenders are trained in responsible alcohol service, can craft consistent drinks quickly, and handle everything from setup to cleanup—so your loved ones can relax and enjoy the celebration. We also carry full liquor liability insurance and bring all necessary tools and supplies, reducing risk and stress for you and your venue.
How many bartenders will we need?
While every event is unique, a good rule of thumb is one bartender per 75 guests for beer/wine service, and one per 50 guests for signature cocktails and a full bar. Actual staffing may vary depending on factors such as cocktail complexity, number of bar stations, and service style. We’ll recommend the right staffing after learning more about your event.
What is in the Bar Toolkit?
Our mobile bar team arrives fully equipped with professional tools for fast, polished service. This includes bottle openers, wine keys, cocktail shakers, strainers, jiggers, muddlers, pour spouts, ice bins, cutting boards, garnish containers, and all the essentials for mixing, serving, and keeping the bar area clean—so you don’t have to provide a thing.
Do you carry insurance?
Yes. We maintain full general and liquor liability insurance (minimum $1M/$2M) and can provide a certificate of insurance to your venue and planner.
How early do you arrive for setup and how long is service?
We generally arrive 1–2 hours before guest arrival to set up and stay about 1 hour after service ends for breakdown, with service times varying based on your event’s needs. Most events book 4-6 hours of bar service.
What areas do you serve and do you travel?
We’re based on the Central Coast and happily travel throughout the region. We can travel further but travel fees may apply for events outside San Luis Obispo County.
Do you offer non-alcoholic options?
Yes! We can craft zero-proof cocktails, mocktails, and provide sparkling water or specialty sodas so every guest has something festive. We also offer a N/A Beverage Station with Herb-Infused water, Lemonade and Ice Tea.
